Barn Thai Restaurant - Sunnyvale

Very unbelievable at the branch, I just went to Metro City Sports Bar Grill and my staff had to lead me to Barn Thai entrance. A pretty simple interior, our server was so beautiful and laughed at our bad and hardly funny jokes. Only 2 of us on Tuesday nite, immediately sitting, just another couple at the time. We ordered the Crispy Thai fried wings, the roasted duck curry and the shrimp fish curry, with hot jasmine tea. Just wait 10 minutes and we were served. Wings came first so that we attacked them, they were crispy outside, very hot on touch and only a touch of spiciness. I think it could have used more spices/heat, but they were tasty not overcooked and 6 wings for the 2 of us guys did not seem enough. But with the rest of the dinner it was really right. We shared the duck and fish/shrimp curries. The duck curry was very sweet (a little too sweet for my taste and I think that exaggerated the curry aroma. It was very good, tasty, but just too sweet. The duck had a nice roasted taste, although I think it was just a bit overcooked, it was not hard, easy overcooked. I would order it again and for less sugar and more curry (cuz I like the taste. My employee said he just liked it well?. He must have a sweet tooth more than me. The fish shrimp curry had more of a curry taste that saw shrimp? really good, but I couldn't eat it? because of my gout. The fish was a non-descript white fish (can be some kind of cod and definitely NOT boiled over and be very delicious. I thought the sauce was too salty, maybe it could cut by 50% for my taste (then again, my diet has less salt and every dish my wife and I don't prepare us a little too salty for me. Great dinner, fantastic companion and fun and friendly service we go back.

Good food, it was fast for a late dinner. the restaurant was quite empty at that time. I got the chicken stable and the waitress left me an ice-cold water-snob.

The food was just fine. I had the devil wings and ordered a green curry. The curry was delicious, but the devil wings were not so good. They were drowned in ruins and the dough was very hard. The meat itself was good, but it would have been better if they weren't immersed in Sweet Chili Sauce. It ruined the taste. Other than that, the service was okay. There was nothing to scream.

Barren Thai is the best Thai restaurant. We order every Friday for Thai Fri and the whole studio loves it. Customer service is impeccable and we are greeted with smiles and high-quality food. I recommend the Yellow Curry and the Mango Sticky Rice.

Barn Thai is my all-time favorite Thai place!! Sandy, the woman who runs it, is the sweetest person I?ve ever met. She?s so wholesome and makes the entire experience so lovely! Their food is sooo delicious! I try a new dish every time I go there and it?s always really special. I would 100% recommend to anybody looking for delicious Thai food and a wholesome experience.
