Swamp Donkeys Pub - Sundre

This restaurant offers delicious food, allows dogs, and provides great service! I had 3 large pieces of cod and yam fries for $20. I would have rated them a five, but the tavern was a bit dirty. However, I enjoyed the music on the terrace!

We had the best experience on the terrace at this restaurant. The Jambalaya was exceptional! The new management really made a difference and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning. The outdoor smoker was a great feature, offering Fred Flintstone-sized ribs and pig roasts. Mark your calendars for July 15, 2022!

Super friendly staff! Great wort on her frits and the smoked meat they have served is delicious! We're going to thru Sundre the next time.

We are in Sundre Alberta at 9 a.m. looking for a place to eat something found this place by accident clean great food I didn't pay my buddy did so I didn't know how the price was, but it seemed reasonable...sometimes you just have luck and found a good one small place worth the effort

I don't even know where to start with this restaurant. Not only did we have the rudest server I've ever encountered, but the management didn't seem to care when we brought it to their attention. When we asked if we could order food when our drinks arrived, we were given a dirty look and told in a very passive aggressive tone that we could only order when she went to get her notepad. How were we supposed to know she didn't have it? To top it off, she left her shift to take shots with another customer while insulting us for no reason. Save yourself the trouble and grab food from a gas station – you'll probably get better service there anyway.
