Bageri Passion - Sundbyberg

Do not go to the venue on the highway in Sundbyberg if you are hungry. They only had shrimp sandwiches and as a vegetarian, I do not want to eat shrimp. Politely asked if they could make a sandwich for me and got a snappy and very sour response that they did not have time, even though there were two of them and I was the only customer. Met a woman outside who said they were known for being rude in that store. <br/ <br/ Disgusting! Will not set foot there again. I do not understand how you can retain customers and stay financially afloat with that staff. Do you hire just anyone? I have worked in the same type of business and would never dream of behaving in a similar way.

This restaurant always has a great variety of vegan cakes, with the bounty cake and carrot cake being especially delicious. The cookies are also irresistible. They usually offer one vegan pastry option, such as the recent rhubarb/vanilla bun. The coffee is consistently good and freshly made. In addition to vegan options, they occasionally offer traditional cakes made vegan, like the princess cake, and homemade sorbets in the summer. Not all the breads are vegan, so be sure to ask, but the staff is always friendly and willing to assist.

To be completely honest, I have been slightly disappointed by Passion on a few occasions. I have found that their vegan options are limited and not very appealing. The raw carrot cake was delicious, but the high price of over 50 sek was a bit off-putting. However, I once ordered a large raspberry and chocolate cake for a colleague's birthday and it was a hit with everyone at work. It was much better than a similar cake I had ordered from another bakery in the past. I was also impressed when Passion held an all-vegan day and provided me with a list of items to choose from when I was out of town. Their customer service was excellent and I was able to pick up my order when I returned. Passion seems to be a strong competitor to Söderbergs bageri as the best bakery in Stockholm. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the future.

This cafe is cozy and conveniently located near central Stockholm, just two stops away by train. They have a variety of vegan options available, including cakes, salads, and sandwiches. On weekends, there are usually more pastry choices to choose from. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Not the comfiest Café but the vegan Semlas are incredibly good!
