As a Texan, I'm always happy to find great barbecue in Ohio. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.The beef brisket was wonderfully smoked and fall apart tender as it should be. Pairs great with the sweet gold sauce and the Carolina Hot (vinegar based)

Having recently moved to Ohio, it was great to find a BBQ place out here worth going back to. Seasoning of the meats is outstanding! Really wish the sides, specifically the baked beans, had the same level of flavor. Only true complaint was the dull and untamed interior design of the inside seating area. Wheelchair accessibility: One poorly marked handicap parking spot located fairly close to a 25mph road. Outdoor seating is within a rocky cement patch. The only indoor entrance is a narrow residential-style porch door.

Food was good, I had the brisket tacos, and a side of cole slaw. We got the food to go, but ended up eating it there, which I am so glad we did, as the bag didn't have a single napkin or utensil. That would have been a disaster eating BBQ in a car with no napkins! The amount of brisket in the taco was kind of skimpy, but it was very good tasting.
