I should of have go with my gut and not get in when I saw the Restaurant wasn't run by mexicans.We ordered Nachos! Simple enough, how would u screw it. Well, they had hardly any cheese at all, and the tortillas looked old. We ordered a margarita; it was some type of alcohol (not tequila), mixed with water down strawberry juice and ice cubes, barely any salt on the rim, and a straberry hanging on the rim. (not blended) When i tried it. It felt like drinking pure alcohol. When we complainedAnd told the guy that wasn't a margarita, he said that it was an authentic one from Mexico. i said : i am latina, I know how MargAritas taste like and how they should be presented, he argued with me. So we left it untouched and were forced to pay for it. His solution was that he could water it down. Absolutely disgusting. Go to that restAurant at your own risk! Nevermind mention it that it is pricey.

The atmosphere seemed nice when I walked in. There were at least 6 empty tables, so it wasn't crowded. I was promptly served a drink, but had to wait over 40 minutes for our main dishes, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. There was no apology when the food finally arrived. The food itself was decent, but it was more standard Mexican fare rather than authentic. I gave a low rating because the waiter rushed us to pay, bringing the check and card machine before we had a chance to review it. They had already added a gratuity of over 15% without informing us. While the tip didn't break the bank, it was still disappointing to see this tactic being used. It would be better if the restaurant was more transparent about their billing practices and advised customers accordingly.

What really upset me was the issue with the tip, which I see many others have also commented on. When the bill arrived, the waiter quickly took it away and brought the card machine without giving me a chance to review it. I ended up leaving a 15% tip on the machine, which I now realize was unnecessary as the restaurant had already added a gratuity to the bill. Based on the numerous negative reviews, it is clear that this restaurant is aware of the issues with their service yet still continues to take advantage of customers. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

While we enjoyed the food, after reading the reviews, I now realize I tipped an additional 9 bucks, not noticing the 15 percent too on the bill..... my fault for not looking I guess. The staff seemed stressed, and service was slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty...

Be hungry when you go here! We got an appitizer which we could have skipped. Great friendly services!!!
