Ironwood Grill On The Green At Ironoaks Cc

I went to Grill on the Green on Tuesday with a friend for their Taco Tuesday. We both ordered the special (steak tacos). They were very delicious. The $5 frozen margarita was also a treat! It was around 4pm and we had no trouble getting a seat inside. Service was exceptional. My husband and I were there on Thursday around 3:15 with a group of 10 for a happy hour drink. We sat on the patio and the outside fans and misters felt great, plus it was shaded! Service was friendly, accurate, and quick! Enjoy!

Four of us went to the Ironwood Grill on the Green for lunch. We enjoyed seeing the new decor and space since it has been remodeled, very nice. We were very impressed by the large bar and the amount of seating. The outside seating looked very comfortable too. Each of us ordered a different dish and all were good but could use a little help. The taco salad was virtually missing any dressing and did not come with any salsa. The smash burger was good but the side salad was dry and woody. The lettuce salad with chicken was good but nothing special. The patty melt with a side of fried onion rings was good. It was large, tasty and filling. We took half of it home. The service was adequate but not stellar. The tips we gave were minimal because of that.

We gave it a try after an extensive remodel as we had several good meals at the Grill in the past. We live in Oakwood across the street. There is work to be done. The cheese was cold on the patty melt. The cold slaw was at least a few days old and contained too much red pepper and oregano. The mac and cheese was flavorless. Many items and the menu were not available and the nice waiter said a new menu was being printed. What? The chicken tenders were cold and obviously not cooked to order. The hazy beer was excellent and cold. The remodel is very nice with a large bar.

They recently reopened after a remodel. Lots of bar space, tables, tvs, and a couple outdoor fire pits. It can get extremely busy at times, so be patient. Food and drinks are good. Live music on certain days. Servers very good and friendly (just very busy during peak times). The swordfish and green bean special was delicious, as was the smashburger (get the jam on the side as it has a kick to it). Their mac and cheese weekly special was awesome this week! It had tomatoes, mozzarella, and pesto. My favorite so far. Taco salad needs more seasoning, but otherwise very good. it is presented beautifully, Portions are large. Chicken tenders good too. Amazing atmosphere with live music on Wednesday and Friday nights. Highly recommend the chicken tenders and margaritas.
