Applebee's - Sumter

I placed an online order and it took more than an hour for my food to arrive. The customer service wasn't great, except for a few staff members who were nice. Despite this, I’m giving them 5 stars because they offered me a complimentary meal, and when the food finally arrived, it was incredibly delicious and generous in portion. I personally won’t be returning, but I recommend giving it a try on a better day!

The food was delicious, but the nachos were disappointing due to the minimal amount of meat—just about a tablespoon for an appetizer. I really don’t think it was worth the $12 I spent. On a positive note, the server and manager were both excellent. I hadn't visited in a while because I often felt like I was doing everything myself or having to constantly involve the manager. After this experience, I'm definitely considering returning, but I'll probably skip the nachos next time. As for the beer cheese, it had an overpowering beer flavor; while I enjoyed it, my kids didn’t. They ended up eating plain cheese with their pretzels, which I had to pay extra for.

I hadn't visited Applebee's in a long time, but my experience today was truly enjoyable. We ordered the chicken and broccoli pasta, and although it could have benefited from a bit more Alfredo sauce, the flavor was perfect. One portion is more than enough to easily share between two people. Our server, Nicole M., was exceptional and took great care of us. I can't wait to come back soon!

I enjoy my food just as much as I love my coffee—served hot! Applebee's Grill and Bar truly exceeded my expectations on Veterans Day; the food was steaming hot and delicious. The restaurant was filled with veterans, which really enhanced the atmosphere. Impressively, my meal arrived in only 3 minutes—yes, just 3 MINUTES! A special thank you to Kierra, the waitress; you did an amazing job, and I really appreciate your service. Thank you, Applebee's Grill and Bar, for honoring veterans with complimentary meals on this special day. I will definitely be a loyal customer for life!
