High West Distillery - Summit Park

Sunday Brunch High West Wanship Oct 15, 2023: Extremely disappointing meal, the only decent item was the Croque Monsieur sandwich. Eggs Benedict was cold, had a very strange tasting sauce-not the expected Hollandaise. Muffin was soggy. Fried potatoes were cold and overcooked. Tri tip had a very unpleasant smoky flavor. Cinnamon roll tasted stale. I could go on but you get the idea. Very surprised since High West usually does a good job with food. Avoid the buffet.

Amazing views and epic Bourbon makes this a must-do destination in Salt Lake City. Take the time and enjoy yourself during a great whiskey tour.

This is a unique venue for weddings. We recently provided services for a black tie wedding event here including an outdoor ceremony, sound, lighting, and our 360 photo booth experience and it was an incredible celebration where the dancing went until midnight! We added our cold spark fountains and dancing on the clouds and it was incredible to see the energy and excitement of the crowd that went for hours.

Had lunch with my family at the Refectory which is located on Blue Sky Ranch. There is a gift shop on site that also sells their High West Distillery whiskey and ancillary products. My brother loves their whiskey and wanted to visit the facility. I had the Bison Tacos and shared some of the Utah trout with my brother for lunch. Both were excellent. Another family member had the bison hash and said it was the best he ever had. The only complaint was we all felt the fries were over salted, but were well cooked. The ranch is gorgeous with spectacular views. There is a 5 star hotel on the property (did not visit or stay) and an indoor dressage horse facility.
