The Hat Tavern - Summit

I made a reservation for my son's 18th birthday on Sunday. When we arrived at the restaurant, however, it was closed, despite our reservation. We ended up having to scramble to find another place to eat.

Terrible experience; no one came to our table to serve us. We ended up leaving.

The restaurant had a strong smell, was quite loud, and overly bright. I ordered a medium-rare burger but received a gray, overcooked one instead. The service was also slow. Overall, I was left feeling underwhelmed.

Slow to get seated but staff was friendly and did their best.

We had a great dinner outside on the patio. Food was great, and we had awesome service. Great casual spot.
