Newk's Eatery - Summerville

We stumbled across this place in azalea square. Service was fast and food was delicious

They discreetly add an inflation fee without any signage to inform customers, and this percentage is calculated based on the total amount, including taxes. It’s shocking! Additionally, we waited over 25 minutes for our order while the restaurant was mostly empty. When we inquired about it, the manager didn’t even offer an apology. We used to enjoy Newk's, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I've never encountered this before: an inflation fee added to my bill. Should I be able to ask my employer for an inflation adjustment to my hourly wage as well? If necessary, just raise your prices.

Don’t know how this place has so much 5s maybe they just don’t care about Take Out orders because the pizza I got looked vastly different from the pizza I saw in the photos. Cant believe I paid 17 for this looks like a meal I’d get from a public school. Not bad food but like there’s no way I’d pay anything more than 12 for what I got. Really friendly staff. really good food at an affordable price. the restaurant is always clean and normally packed. my favorite is the Newk's club with a side of fruit salad. also love that the cups are really nice and high quality plastic that they can be reused at home also.
