Shaffer Farms Custom Meat - Summertown

The meat market is fantastic, but the BBQ restaurant connected to it is the best in the state! I’ve been a regular for 14 years, and every time I visit, I meet someone who has traveled from another state just to dine there. It's definitely worth the trip!

I've traveled extensively across the US for my career, and during a visit to Amish country, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Without a doubt, it was the best meat I've ever tasted. I ordered the sampler, which included four different types of meat, and it was simply incredible.

This is the place to buy your meat! It is fresh and no chemicals. I wished they sold smaller packaging but I separate it myself. Today I spent 95.00 and got enough meat for 9-10 meals, this included large pack country style ribs, chicken legs, jumbo WILD CAUGHT shrimp, hamburger and 2 filet mignon. I no longer buy meat from Walmart.

This place is amazing. The food is good fair prices (it is smoked food). Definitely recommend the turkey and white sauce (ranched based). If you like bbq this is a must stop.

I dined here a few days ago and had the brisket, which was absolutely delicious and incredibly tender. It was packed with flavor! I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes, baked beans, and mac and cheese, all of which were fantastic. I can't wait to return! The portion sizes were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back.
