Greenhill Wines - Summertown

Planned a surprise birthday lunch for my other half yesterday. Paul and Penny were very accomodating with my request in planning out the lunch menu for my 40 guests. The lunch went really well with the youngsters finishing their lunch faster than the adults and they went off to the winery and greens area to explore and play. The adults enjoyed the set lunch whilst drinking the wines from the cellardoor. Lots of photos taking as the scenic view look fabulous in the perfect weather. Penny and her two male staff assist to cut and serve the birthday cake which everyone enjoyed. My guests were very please with the venue chosen as they enjoy the afternoon alot. Thanks to Paul and Penny for making this surprise birthday lunch a success !!

Dropped in late afternoon and great cellar door with good food and wine. Party of people having an organised tasting inside, but made to feel equally welcome and the lovely hosts served our snacks on the beautiful deck overlooking the stunning scenery looking across the vines. We will definitely come back we enjoyed our impromptu drop in so much hubby managed to buy 3 bottles to take home. There was even an obliging koala although it might have been a bit lost as it was climbing down a fir tree adjacent to the deck. Our 2 boys had fun too!

Perfect views. Great service. The best freshly made bread sticks with the gorgeous sparkling Pinot. Will be back!

What a winemaker. Such wonderful wine to be had. And, what a fantastic cook! Penny delivered gorgeous food for all. Second function here. So so good.
