Deckhouse Pub & Eatery - Summerside

The fish sandwich at this restaurant in Summerside is delicious. It's a great place to visit located at Spinnakers Landing.

The best food was here. A late lunch stopped and we ordered the fish and chips and the fish tacos. Tartar Sauce was AMAZING and the Tacos were probably the best I ever had. Would definitely stop it.

Having tried over a dozen Chowders on Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, this humble place has the most amazing Chowder, generous for $10.50. Far better than the pretentious and measly served by Dalvay through the sea) and Keltic Lodge ...absolute garbage buckets), Summerside's simple restaurant can boast a chowder that is beautifully delicious and not cheating by doing fresh cream in the soup like many restaurants. It is also generous with its seafood. Unfortunately, a small city that would possibly overlook people on their journeys, but go when you go through.

We ate at the bar because it was very busy, but service was incredibly friendly, with a good speed and the food was delicious. The bartender was a perfect mix of hospitable and funny and enabled us to carry on. What a wonderful intro for...PEI for us!

We arrived in PEI today and stumbled upon The Deckhouse while exploring. Our plan for a quick drink to escape the sun turned into a few hours of fantastic hospitality from Chloe, our server. We enjoyed some of the cleanest mussels we've ever seen and tasted, while my wife indulged in delicious Fish and Chips. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience - we only wish we could stay longer. We would definitely return if we had the chance. Thank you.
