Contribuiți la feedbackWe enjoyed the location of our table (at window). The food was very good. A possible improvement put some signs from the entrance of the parking lot on the city side to the restaurant so that new customers do not get lost and redirect... to another restaurant. We got help from a restaurant staff who was near the entrance (otherwise we would have turned around and left).
The restaurant was extremely busy with only one cook working. Appetizers took nearly an hour to arrive and were lacking in flavor. The main courses took an additional 30 minutes after the appetizers were served. The seafood chowder was disappointing, with only 2 scallops, 2 shrimp, and 3 pieces of potatoes in a bowl filled mostly with sauce and green onion. The potato skins were bland, overcooked, and scalding hot from the microwave. The lobster-topped fish had no flavor and had to be heavily seasoned with salt and pepper. The sides of potatoes and beets were served cold and did not even melt the butter. The staff was overwhelmed as the cook was unable to keep up with the demand. If they had closed some tables, perhaps the staff could have provided better service. Overall, the experience was disappointing with lackluster food and inadequate service.
On a rainy day, we stumbled upon this restaurant to grab a bite to eat and hopefully catch a glimpse of some summer scenery. The mussels, drinks, and food were all delicious. And the view was fantastic!
Wow wow wow!! Food and service were fantastic!! We had the lobster rolls with a side of coleslaw and fries/potato salad. Jessie our waitress was super friendly and very personable. The other waiter talked us into the pumpkin pie to go, so we have that...to look forward to. The only tip I would add is breakwater is part of the silver fox complex.
None in our party of 4 were impressed. Quesadilla was just ok and not even served with rice or anything else. Lemon Haddock very common and again basic presentation and veggies and potatoes. Chicken fingers were ok and their skinny fries leave a lot to...be desired. Service was good and a great waitress. It is very difficult to find and located in something called the Silver Fox Complex. Locals might know it but tough for visitors. The Silver Fox complex is very tired and could be cleaner. Looks like it was left over from the 1980’s.Not even a good view of the harbour. You can do a lot better for a lot less money elsewhere in Summerside
