Shaughnessy's Cove - Summerland

Cold in second booth had to wear a coat during dinner…wind was blowing pretty good yesterday

Happened to be there on 2 for one pasta night! We all loved our pasta choices. Nice variety of appetizers to suit adults and kids. Kids love the “tea party” drinks and the food.

We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary last night and enjoyed a great meal together at Shaughnessy’s Cove. The restaurant treated us to two glasses of Champagne, which kicked off the evening well. We loved the cauliflower wings as an appie and enjoyed our mains too (Mediterranean bowl with blackened chicken and tuna tataki bowl). We really appreciate Shaughnessy having so many tasty gluten-free options and that they’re clearly marked on the menu. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will be back of course!

Very pleased that it was quieter than usual. Fish and chips were very good, as were the gnocchi and Chicken Panang. View is lovely. Prices are so through the roof. We can come here only on very special occasions. What happened to the more moderately-priced lunch choices? Those didn't seem to be available on our menu.

We always have a fantastic experience at the Cove. One thing my husband said as we are walking in, he said he loves the coziness of the restaurant. We are always treated so well by the staff
