Rio Grande - Summerfield

I feel compelled to write something, seeing how many recent poor reviews there were. We went for the dips for the chips, and that did not disappoint! The queso and the guac were both great. Service was on point as well. My burrito was huge, the burrito Rico. I asked for a little chorizo to it thinking it was going to be a small amount but it was loaded. Only went to 4 stars because my burrito wasn't well distributed it. One part was all chorizo, one part beans, and etc. if it was a more rounded bite I would have went to 5 stars. Overall, we'll definitely be back

Taco Tuesday was great!! Best Taco I’ve had in a long time. Good service.

I had 3 street tacos and a beer. The carnitas and beef tacos were both favorable, and seasoned well!

We walked in and got seated as usual, but then waited 10 minutes for a waiter so we finnaly went tot he bar and asked for a waiter and then we got one. Also our chicken was cold very unprofessional!!! This happened 02/07/24

Went with the wife and kids. Started off well with the chips and salsa, accompanied by homemade guacamole which was fresh and tasty.Had the 4 enchiladas: bean was great, chicken and beef were dry, and the cheese (usually my fave) was actually the worst. The cheese inside was far from authentic, more like a runny fake queso style cheese. Won’t get it again. On the flip side, the rice and beans on the side were superb and authentic. Kids had wings which were dry as well. Wife ordered the enchilada and chimichanga combo, which came out as an enchilada and tostada combo. Saving grace was that the tostada was actually good!Our server was amazing. Friendly and quick to bring food, drinks and refills.Will be back because the service was great and some of the food was above par. Will try others on menu and hoping for a better main course experience.
