Fantastic grill! This might be the best in Alabama, including Birmingham! Be sure to try the cornbread with the jalapeño sandwich. Just remember to bring cash or a checkbook, as they don't accept cards.

The pork was well-prepared, although I didn't find much smoky flavor. I enjoyed the baked beans, and the potato salad was different from what I'm used to, but I started to like it the more I ate. They only have two BBQ sauces: sweet and tangy, and I went with the tangy one. I could have done without the disc of white bread – I would have preferred Texas toast instead. There were several tempting desserts on offer, but I managed to resist them. The menu has enough variety to lure me back in the future to try other items, especially those my fellow diners recommended. For the $10 I spent on my meal and a soda, I left feeling quite satisfied.
