I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. Despite pre-booking a table, we were the only 8 customers in the restaurant and had to rearrange chairs and tables ourselves to accommodate our group. The waitress was not very friendly and seemed unsure of the different curries when they finally arrived 30 minutes later. The samosas were greasy and heavy, and all the curries tasted the same and were not enjoyable. To top it off, they had run out of one of the desserts on the menu. As I left the restaurant, all I could think was, I hope I don't get food poisoning in the morning.

Let me start by saying the food here is actually really good. And as a local for me that does something other than the bulk made bain-marie slop style Indian I really want this place to succeed. But they really need some help on the wait staff front. I 've been here 3 times now and it 's always the same chaotic mess. It 's really not that they don 't care, I just don 't think they have any previous experience with waiting tables, which looks like inattentiveness and lack of service. I 'm sorry but 20 minutes and 4 requests for wine glasses is just not good enough. With a little bit of TLC and guidance on how to manage the tables this place would be as busy as everywhere else in Summer Hill. In the meantime though, stick to takeaway. Unless of course you are the only people in the restaurant...
