Smashburger - Sugar Land

Veggie Burger was terrible. Soft muddy patty that seemed like it was steamed. Cooked differently than the real burger. No e-mail crisis, no oil. Just rough.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I just hope it saves people's time and money. It was our first time we tried the place. We have 3 shakes, a small frit and an apple juice. It came to $25. Pretty expensive for Shakes and Shakes who had strange tastes. The pommes were quite small and simply tasted. I'm not sure what makes this an outstanding place, but we suspected it had to be the burgers. We didn't try them, but we don't want to come back.

I, my sister and my mother went there today to get a meal. They forgot the Tangerine sauce for the Tangerine Creme shake and my mother had to go back to the counter to put it in her shake. They also put pickles on my sisters Burger after they had not asked for pickles, and the note on the Burger also did not say pickles. Finally, we ordered all 3 the smoked Brisketburger and there was no Bbq on all three of our burgers.

My tastes are super happy! I ordered a double truffle mushroom and Swiss burgers and it was delicious! I could share regular fries and was still full. The workers were friendly and worked hard to keep the areas clean. For the size of the burger I felt that the price was about $9 for my double-burger fair.

Smash burgers are not the same as regular burgers. This is one of those places where you cannot deviate from a regular burger or even a cheeseburger. When you start adding all the extras, you lose the integrity of the burger. I say this because I have tried almost everything on the menu. The sweet potato fries are the best side. The strawberry lemonade is 99% ice and 2 sips lemonade. Also, they had Buffalo fries at one point and I?m not sure why they removed them. The children?s menu definitely needs to be expanded. And just an FYI, if you want to save $20 in fees don?t order from DoorDash. They up charge all menu items and add ridiculous fees when compared to every single other establishment.
