Baguio Hut Express - Sugar Land

Halo Halo and melon juice were sweet, tasty and refreshing on a hot Texas summer day. Food is amazing. The staff is friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Nice little restaurant. simple delicious items that reminds me so much of what my mother cooks, although we are Vietnamese. the small acid soup had no vegetables swimming, but was brilliant and at the perfect temperature for me to consume immediately. the sausage was sweet and juicy and very tasty. the chicken was delicious. as for their Gulaman drink, if you like tapioca drinks, you will probably love this Filipino version. it was all clean and there was no music that was a pleasant change from what I am used to.

The food was really delicious. I have the Longanisa breakfast. I gave him four stars, because apart from the poster on the wall with the full-day breakfast and drinks menu on it, there were no clear signs of what the prices were for things. There was a cafeteria style hot dish area and a two or three protein plate option with, but I'm not sure the prices. Also there were no signs of saying what each court was. Staff do not provide the information, but seemed ready to help when someone came after us and asked. Overall a pretty good experience with delicious, fatty food.

Very clean restaurant. Small but cozy bathroom was also very clean. The staff were young, cool and generous. The food is furnished in your typical Filipino rice 1 or 2 duck and a soup. The BBQ was ordered and was delicious and delicate. Lechon was not overcooked and also delicate and tasty. The Turon was also freshly made, warm and tasty. Will definitely come back

We visited the restaurant for lunch and it was not busy. They had about 10 items prepared a cafeteria style set up. We tried several items from there including the flattened eggplant, sautéed pork, mixed vegetables, chicken wings stew and the halo halo. Everything was prepared well, they took care to explain us how the traditional Filipino dishes are prepared. This is a family run place and hope they succeed in opening more locations like this one.
