Ogilvie's Grill House - Suffolk Coastal

We booked for the New Year's Dinner/Dance in the country club with overnight stay. the food was beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful. the band accolade played after the meal instead of a disco and were brilliant! the fireworks were really good and we had a nice evening with a taxi both gone. the hotel bar was open late and the entire staff was very good. breakfast was delicious, but let them be time, like all cooked to order and they are waiting for which I really like my only criticism that our room was a little tatty to place, but I understand what a hard time hospitable had recently. it was a wonderful experience and I recommend it

As part of a group stayed here as part of a golf tour in the region withte märz personal were fantastic from beginning to end, eating and accommodation also very good. the golf course was in a really excellent condition and is a great test of the golf that can prove for higher handicapper, but its really great stretch. we are planning another trip to thorpeness for the autumn. many thanks to all at thorpeness for a great stay!

We had some nice days here with accommodation and eating very well. friendly staff help to make it a very pleasant experience. the only criticism I have is the quality of bunkers on the golf course. I found them incompatible with what they had in them and badly cared for. I thought the curs was good, but if the bunkers were improved, it would be great and my overall rating would have been 5 stars. bunker should be a danger, but they should also be fair and playable, unfortunately not.

Excellent golf as always, especially as we were between the two great storms! the great difference but from earlier visit was in the restauraunt, the excellent food and service. the hotel however generally looks tired and needs money, which is mainly spent on the rooms. we were in the beautiful rooms above the restauraunt .

18 Holes of golf Friday pm. 3 course evening meal which was lovely, overnight stay in nice spacious room. Choice of breakfast Saturday before another round of golf on a fabulous course. 4 of us £120 each. Great deal. We couldn't fault it. Even had warm sunny weather both days. All the staff first class.
