Boogie’s Soul Food - Suffolk

WONDERFUL! I had no idea they'd have drinks so that was a nice surprise. The fried pork chop, collards and Mac n cheese were PHENOMENAL. This is the first time I've had food in a long time that actually tasted flavorful. Will be back hopefully to enjoy the live music.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. My BF, our kids and I all got something different and all was delicious with no complaints. To the person that said that you could cook better, open a restraunt yourself because people are missing out! The service was friendly and our wait time was less than I thought it would be for food that was made fresh upon ordering! We got there at around 5:45 and toward the end of our meal the DJ was playing and the patrons were dancing so if you are looking for a quiet meal with the family, go earlier. If you do not mind, enjoy the music!

The food was good but the wait and service is horrible! Went because Holland Produce was closed. Holland is cheaper, no wait, good and you get a piece of cake

The rib special was absolutely delicious. It seems I couldn't resist and already devoured a rib before I snapped this photo. The meal came with cornbread, allowing me to choose two additional sides. As for the chicken wing, I had just completed a 9-mile hike and was really hungry. They sell wings individually, and it was tasty! The dining area is open and the cleanliness of the place, including the restroom, is impressive. If only they offered unsweetened iced tea, I would gladly give them six stars!

I tried Boogie's tonight and everything was fantastic! I enjoyed the fried okra, fried shrimp, and cabbage. The cornbread was incredible! They’re open from noon to 8 PM, and it seems like they have some exciting plans for the lounge area coming up. The music was great too!
