TAPHOUSE Northern Grill + Pub - Sudbury

I visited a restaurant with a group of 8 people while staying with family for Thanksgiving. The menu looked promising, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The service was just okay, and there was no manager in sight, only student servers. None of the 8 meals we ordered were enjoyable. The Greek salad was mostly red onions with a few cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, and feta, lacking any noticeable dressing. The veggie flatbread was a dry pizza crust with feta, zucchini, a whole red onion, red pepper slices, and bland green vegetables. It was the most tasteless flatbread we've ever had. The worst dish was the veggie rice bowl with shrimp, as the shrimp tasted fishy and salty, and the rice had an overpowering flavor of vegetable soup and cayenne pepper. We struggled to finish our meals and when we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server, they simply said we should have spoken up sooner. The meal was very expensive, and nothing was worth returning for. In fact, we even stopped at Deluxe for fries on the way home.

My friends and I had a late dinner on a holiday weekend at this restaurant. We ordered Mac and Cheese, chicken tacos, Florentine flatbread, and a chicken Caesar salad. Each dish was outstanding - fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. We were impressed and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Sudbury!

We enjoyed a late lunch or early dinner at this restaurant. The food was tasty and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back here. The decor is cute and the atmosphere is nice.

Came here for a business meeting one evening. We were appalled with our time there. It was chaotic, our server seemed stressed (we don't blame her) and the food was mediocre at best. The manager seemed to not care at all about customers and actually sat down at the bar to drink beer while we were still there. We will be taking our meetings elsewhere next time.

Great service, awesome food, and good specials. We had the half price fish tacos (the Tuesday special when we were there). They were delicious and very filling. Good beer specials, too! And the servers were very friendly and attentive, too.
