Looking for amazing food? Look no further than this Sudbury classic. And the portion sizes are incredible.
I ordered a steak on a bun at this restaurant but they mistakenly gave me a hamburger instead. However, it turns out that the hamburger was actually the steak. It cost $6.99. Sadly, the steak was chopped and lacked any charring, color, or flavor. It came with only a small amount of grilled diced onions on a too-big bun. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. On the bright side, the onion rings were delicious and came in a generous portion. Despite this, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant.
The fries were good. Lots of onion rings. But apparently in this Covid era, steak on a bun means hamburger with pepper .
We were not familiar with this restaurant. We gave it a try for lunch and I 'd say it 's not worth going back. Usually when you have a burger chain that 's been around since 1960 's it 's because they have fresh patties and do something above average. Not the case for this place; the patties are tiny and frozen. There is absolutely nothing special about them at all. The bun was far too large for the patty making it seem even more inappropriate and the patty itself is fairly tasteless. They pride themselves on the fries which are shoestring and certainly decent. Their other claim to fame is their BBQ sauce which the locals will understand as more of a gravy/dipping sauce and the person serving us assumed we knew about. It 's a strange yellowish colour with a chicken base but not something that 's remarkable and the colour is a bit off-putting.
