Delightful find for us at the end of a travel day. Has their summer menu. Brie blueberry in Filo pastry appetizer, and rustic tagliatelle for the main and the ice cream-like dessert. ?
Have been to Sudbury and area countless times and never knew this place existed. The neighbourhood and building are removed from the typical restaurant vibe. Don’t be fooled, this is authentic Italian cuisine and will surpass your expectations. Visited with friends for drinks, apps, mains and desserts. There were 4 of us and everything was quality. The gnocchi was homemade and better than any I’ve ever had, including in Italy. Impressive wine list and an original seasonal menu…chicken thighs in blueberry sauce was perfection. Our server was polite and knowledgeable and obviously proud of the family recipes. Was worth exploring the other side.
Went tonight to celebrate our anniversary. Bella Vita did not disappoint! Our server Roberto was prompt, attentive and extremely pleasant. Our drinks and food all arrived quickly. The food what can I say? True fresh Italian fare. Everything tasted superb. We had the bruschetta appetizer, which was top notch. The thin crustini complemented the basil flavouring, and the sliced tomatoes made it much easier to eat as opposed to the usual chopped mess that falls off repeatedly.I had the chicken valdostana, and substituted the risotto. The white cream sauce on the chicken was incredibly flavourful, and the risotto was the best I’ve ever had. I would’ve brought home double if I could’ve!My wife had the chicken fettuccine. The pasta was light and fresh, while the vegetables tasted like they came straight out of the garden.Overall, an amazing experience. We would highly recommend, and will be returning in the future.
Amazing homemade Italian dishes. The light and fluffy gnocchi were the best i have EVER had, including those from northern Italy, and around the world. Excellent service, topped off with homemade bourbon peach cheesecake to die for. The modest exterior belies the gastronomic delights that are masterfully created within. Bravo.
