Contribuiți la feedbackI was in this place several times and enjoyed the food. I have the frijoles y queso taco, paps y rajas taco and their papas y rajas burrito. The last time I left, I had a terrible experience. My friend and I ordered a vegan pollen Burrito and a Paps y rajas burrito. They gave us a pollen burrito and a real chicken burrito. We were extremely shocked that they got the order wrong and immediately lost our appetite. They made us new Burritos and gave us two small cups of Guac for this misunderstanding. The vegetarian options are good here, but be careful and observe how they make your food. This has not happened to me in the past, but this last experience had a wrong communication between the employees. All in all, food is good, but BE CAUTIOUS! Updated by previous review on 2019-01-22
Oaxaca is located in the area of Brooklyn and they serve meat as well as veg and vegan options. I had just picked up a flight so I was looking for a fast meal near the place I had but my experience in Oaxaca did not end up a positive one; I was served a real chicken burrito when I ordered a vegan chick’n burrito. I usually don't spend the extra money on meat alternatives, but if I think I was on vacation, I decided to splurge, and it was a big mistake! I understand that mistakes happen, and they quickly made me a new burrito with potatoes, as I lost my faith in their meat alternatives. No one really apologized for what is frustrating, but they gave me a tiny gucamol. They are also quite over price for what the food is. With all the other amazing vegan restaurants in the area I would not recommend it out of your way for this, but if you absolutely have to go here, I would just say twice (or three times) to check that they have heard you say vegan, and also observe that they make your food just in case.
Vegan tacos are pretty good. I wouldn't go out for her food, but if I were in the area, it's a solid choice.
This restaurant is a great spot to grab a quick meal. They offer a full menu of only vegan options, including faux meat dishes.
In the heart of B'Stuy, a completely separate and extensive vegan menu of delicious and fresh mexican fare. Their tortillas are organic, non-GMO. They sell beer and wine, their home made hot sauce is satisfying, you can sit at the bar or at a table, the staff is friendly, they open late.
