I am usually here on Saturday for breakfast. the card has been significantly changed in recent years, certainly also chic ' adapted to the (e.g.T would like to be public. the quality is correct, the price is in the increased range, but not expensive. for me the perfect start to the weekend!
After the Breuninger shop, they can always eat good food or drink a drink. pleasant and beautiful atmosphere, we come regularly, sometimes much goes on, but still it fits.
Ordered their so-called Asian dishes : a vegie dish and a vegie Ramen soup. Both dishes were not delicious. The only thing I liked was the fresh cilantro. When we opened the complimentary fortune cookie (sealed in its original packed condition), half of it was missing. Really weird. Pricey lunch. Felt like we didn 't get value for money. The plate they used for the vegie dish was chipped. No appetizing presentation here. You 'd probably be better off ordering a Swabian dish.
The in house restaurant of Breuninger (high end department store like Harvey Nicks, Galeries Lafayette etc. in the city centre is located on the fourth floor with a window for;and outdoor terrace. Modern Scandi/loft style interferieren with different sections including one for families with small kids with a stroller parking area and several playing areas. For breakfast there’s waitstaff service until 11:30 hrs, then it’s self service. Apart from classic options of bread rolls, pastries, croissants and jams, honey, cheese and cold cuts, eggs different ways, they als offer a variety of the ubiquitous avocado toast (whole grain bread, avocado, cherry tomatoes and a panko breaded hard boiled egg very nice and at €8,70 very reasonably priced and a Bavarian breakfast of Weißwurst (Bavarian white sausages with Brezel and sweet mustard, nicely served in a smaller version of the typical white porcelain bowl. Have not (yet tried any other meal period, but the glass walled kitchen and fresh salad buffet looked very inviting. Service was a bit slow during my visit but friendly and I overheard some other (apparently regular guests commenting on it being different than usually. Makes for a good stop while shopping. If you park in Breuninger parking garage you get the first hour free of charge (get your ticket validated when paying in the restaurant .
