Gilmo's Bar Bistro Wave Pointe Resort

We have been on a search for a new top spot for fish fry ever since the Gibraltar Grill in Fish Creek shut down. We have tried several places since then, but none have compared until now. I think we have finally found it! Gilmo's perch was outstanding. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great meal and our bartender, Angie was fabulous! Her customer service was outstanding!!

The roasted chicken was excellent and the best I have had in years. The service was good as well.

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:15 pm and patiently waited for the bartender, who was busy. After 45 minutes, we had to ask for menus as they were not offered proactively. Then, 15 minutes later, we had to request someone to take our order. We were informed that our food would take 60-90 minutes, which we found frustrating as we were only a party of two and were aware of a large wedding party coming in later. Despite understanding staff shortages, we felt it would have been more considerate to inform us of the wait time upon arrival. Disappointed, we decided to leave without placing an order for food or another drink. It was a missed opportunity for the restaurant.

Stopped here one evening with a group of people. I really didn 't want to eat typical greasy sports bar food. While looking over the menu, I noticed that it says it gets fresh fish daily so, I ordered the whitefish dinner. While I wasn 't expectingmuch, I can honestly say that it was probably one of the best fish dinners I 've had in a while. I 've been to the UP of Michiganand had some really good fresh caught that day whitefish from Lake Superior and this was just as good.
