Door Peninsula Winery - Sturgeon Bay

Been here annually and usually buy a case of wine. Today we came in at 4:40 and ordered some spirits from a very kind bartender. Next at 4:50 (closing at 5) we approached the wine bar. Server sounding very annoyed and serving two other parties at the bar snarkily denied service stating it was closing time and we could come back tomorrow. 10 minutes would have been plenty of time to sample and purchase. Customer lost after this visit.

One of the many wineries in Door Co, it's also located alongside the distillery. Huge selection of wines, with a code to understand wines by levels of sweetness/dryness. Blends were a bit over the place, with some being great and others not so much. It can get definitely get crowded on a Saturday afternoon.

Cute winery and distillery with gift shop along with yummy fudge and oil tasting. Enjoyed the time we spent here. Picked up a couple of bottles of wine. If you visit, give the Fire wine, Cherry Port and any one of the Meads a try.

My family and I stopped by while on vacation and loved our experience. We enjoyed looking around the spacious gift shop areas, as well as doing the wine tasting. Their wines are so delicious, unique, and good quality. There are so many wines to choose from. We got a few bottles of wine, as well as some gift shop items, to bring back home. I would love to stop back again in the future!
