The Stonewall Grille - STURBRIDGE

HARD PASS!We used to drive from NH to the Copper Stallion, previous owners, and had great experiences with food and conversations with the owner. Last week a visit to Stonewall fell sooo short. Patrons and Bartender/Server were very friendly BUT the food SUCKED! Chocolate milk was curdled for my granddaughter and was replaced quickly with a Shirley temple. Thank you but still charged us. Her grilled cheese was burnt and quickly replace with 2 pieces of toast with a piece of cheese in the middle, not melted! And the buffalo tenders were terrible! HELLO???? A GRILLED CHEESE is not rocket science! If you can't get that right, time for a new career. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Don’t Waste your time money), burger wasn’t bad, fries were old, onion rings were cold, and we were the only customers in the place, took way too long to get food, overall , a 2 out of 10

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst service I’ve gotten at any restaurant EVER. Went here a year ago and had an awful experience, gave it one more shot last night- even worse. From when we sat down to when we got our food- TWO HOURS. We got burgers and a chicken salad.I’m attaching a picture of how much chicken came on the salad (I had already eaten a bite of one of the pieces, but other than that this is what I was given). Even after the 2 hours wait, weren’t offered any compensation and paid full price for a lousy meal that took 2 HOURS

Just stopped after work for a beer. They have Greater Good on tap. Best fried pickles I have had. A bit pricey, cost $30 for 2 beers and an order of fried pickles.

Haven’t been since it was Copper Stallion and now so many other dining options in Sturbridge are available.. I took a chance.I will say bar was super clean and organized. One bartender so service was really slow and the other waitress in this small restaurant did not help any clients at the bar. Owner was in the house complaining about lack of workers and talking about money earned bringing the vibe down. GET BETTER HELP! fire the people that don’t show up instead of complaining to your clients about it. Totally unprofessional. That said .. the food was really good homemade not frozen and the bartender although not attentive on the phone with personal things and not attending to guests in a timely manner kept the bar clean and was personable when I got her attention. I hope they get better reliable help as the food was really good and it is a wonderful place so I hope more people go and try it before it’s gone. That’s what the owner said was going to happen.
