Quaint little spot with incredible fish dishes. Consistently delicious every time. The rice is the star of the show!

After sampling various types of sushi throughout Los Angeles over the past several years, my husband and I can confidently say that Sugarfish is one of the best sushi restaurants we’ve ever encountered. For our taste and experience, it’s perfection every single time.

The menu is excellent, offering reasonable prices that allow you to leave satisfied without overspending. Personally, I don't enjoy the hot rice served with the sashimi, as I feel it detracts from the fish's taste and flavor. Aside from that, it's a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

The sushi is very good. The fish is fresh specially the toro which melts in your mouth. The serving pace of the sushi is just perfect giving you time to savour all of them. The staff are all nice and attentive. We requested additional pickled ginger multiple times with no issue. The bento sushi box for take out is nice where sushi's are arranged neatly inside without damaging the presentation. The price of food and the place is ok.

Their hand rolls are always on point! And their omakase is very worth it for the price you are paying.
