Lady Ann's Victorian Tea Room - Stuart

My daughter's took.me to Lady Ann's for Mother's Day. Lady Ann greeted us at the door and then had us seated right away. We were brought Champagne. The restaurant was quaint and the table was set eloquently with lovely plates, flowers etc. The food was amazing from the scones, soup, main course to the homemade dessert. The service was amazing despite the fact they had a full house. Lady Ann came to our table several times during the meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.The whole expierience was delightful. I absolutely love Lady Ann's. The food and the ambiance are wonderful. And Lady Ann herself makes the experience a personal one by the love she bestows on her customers. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

We went for tea and lunch on a busy Wednesday afternoon. The inside of the tea room is quaint and nicely decorated. Service was very good. My daughter and I each had the 5 course menu which included beverage, soup, entree choice, scones and dessert. The Lobster Bisque was amazing! The salad was small and plain. The scones were served warm with lemon curd, raspberry jam and fresh cream. They were delicious and we were so excited for the entrees. My daughter had the chicken salad plate. It was essentially mayonnaise with a little chicken and some fruit. Honestly, she was unable to eat it and when I told the waitress she seemed very taken aback. She said that nobody has ever complained about it before. I had the caesar salad special which was simply chopped romaine with cooked flavorless chicken and some croutons on top. The first bite of chicken had a piece of fat or tendon and I had to spit it out. I did not finish the remainder of the meal. We had our dessert next which was key lime pie and blueberry peach cobbler. Both of those were phenomenal. I will mention that most of the diners around us ordered either the salmon, sole or tilapia meals and all seemed pleased. I would definitely recommend the lobster bisque, scones and desserts but sadly the entrees were disappointing.
