La Tolteca - STROUDSBURG

The Mexican food here is delicious! I would recommend 100% the Chorizo queso fundido appetizer. It was delicious and comes sizzling right on your table. The Enchilada Chipotle was great and the fried ice was very good! All our party tried was a good quality and the taste was wonderful. I would recommend 100% if you were looking for good Mexican food in the area!

The food was so good and everyone was so nice. It is very hard to find authentic Mexican foods prepared and served in this quality. The margaritas were delicious and strong. Every time I'm in the area, I'll make it here for dinner! I'm very happy with my visit.

I love the food. The children's menu is also good. You have such beautiful art throughout the restaurant.

While a beloved man was near St Luke's Hospital, we wanted to eat somewhere, that was a big chain restaurant. We have eaten a few times at the Pocono Pub and above all everything else there is a chain, but we remembered that La Tolteca had recently opened. I'm so happy. So directly from the racket, the margaritas were excellent. We got another one each and both were very delicious. I'd go back, even if it's just a drink. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the table page Guacamole as starter and it was excellent. The woman who came to the table with the car to make it was warm and friendly, but I am not sure if she even spoke English. The taste of Guac was very beautiful. I had the Molcajete Azteca, which was massive! It had ribeye, shrimp, chicken breast, pineapple, poblanos and onions and melted cheese. It had a ton of taste... I would order it every time I can. It also came in this crazy volcano-rock shell, so cool. Chas had the Pina Loca, which was very similar to the other dish, but without shrimps and it was filled into a hollowed pineapple. I also tried a bit of it and the flavors were very similar, and also delicious. I don't know that I would say that this is 100% authentic Mexican, but it was excellent. We have eaten a few times in Mexico and the flavors are definitely a bit different. Whatever that was, I'd probably eat it again. La Tolteca Didn 't Suck!

Everything was absolutely delicious. Alfonso was a very friendly server. The guacamole they made fresh right in front of you was absolutely amazing! Best I have ever had. Our whole party was happy with their meals. The food looked so good when he brought it out that I barely got any pictures of it. Amazing Food!
