I attended a retreat where they were the caterers. I was able to order from the vegan/vegetarian menu for the weekend. The food was good, and each dish clearly had its own flavor. I wasn’t bored with my meals. I had the vegan veggie skins, which was a tasty and colorful version of potato skins. The vegan Brit burger wasn’t what I expected, but it was delicious. Instead of a breaded eggplant, the burger was an eggplant pate. I’m going to try this at home. The vegan chili was good. It was one of the group selections, and many participants complimented it. The vegan panini and and veggie wrap were good as well. I would like the opportunity to visit the restaurant in person one day. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-20
We stopped here to get lunch on our way home from the Delaware Water Gap in July 2020. It was our first time away since lock down. This is a super cute, clean restaurant with really nice atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the vegan potato skins and my kids got the vegan nachos. They customized the nachos to my daughter's tastes. Everything tasted fresh. The angel crisps (homemade potato chips) were amazing! I am going back to the Delaware Water Gap for a short vacation and I am looking forward to going here again and dining in since I remember the atmosphere seems so fresh and airy.
So cute and delicious. Our waitress was amazing and let me know all the substitutions I could make as well as a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The breakfast menu you can sub all eggs for 'Just Egg ' brand and vegan cheese. I got a veggie breakfast wrap and a grilled hash brown. Lots of vegan options!
This is probably the only place with a separate menu for vegan options in the Poconos. I love the Britburger which is eggplant-based but the wraps with zucchini are good as well. I enjoy the hand-made chips too. Hours are more for people who don't work unless you go Saturday or Sunday morning. Gluten-Free options as well. [hidden link]
