El Merengue Poconos - STROUDSBURG

We ordered several large plates, oxtail, steak, goat, to share between the family, and everything tasted excellent.

The food was so good nice clean establishment and the staff is so nice I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area

Food was ok... had the mofongo with shrimp, the mashed plantains were on the sweet side(not my preference), the shrimp were good and so was the sauce. My GF had the same but with chicharron and it was chewy. NO PRESIDENTE BEER, NO COUNTRY CLUB, had to remind the server that we had asked for some extras, and the worst part were the flies... we had to be constantly swatting them away... other than that, the decor was nice the place was clean and so was the bathroom, the atmosphere was pleasent and the food at the buffet looked fresh and good. Wish i would have gone with something off the buffet better... maybe next time if there is one Parking: Only 4 spots out front if they are parked right, and 1 spot on the side... it was a monday and had to wait to get a spot Wheelchair accessibility: Its a ground floor... but it might be tight. if your on a wheelchair, you may need some help

After waiting for almost an hour for our food. We had to go from the place without eating. Very bad experience for a fast food place. :

Came in for dinner with family. Ordered grilled chicken Rice and beans. My daughter ordered rice and beans only and my husband from the salad (already cooked bar) bar. Waited for an hour 7:30 no food. Everyone who came after us were already eating and we’re still waiting for our SIMPLE ORDER. They kept on saying your food is coming. It never did. We got up and left after waiting an hour and half. When asked for the check the waitress asked for real? You guys are leaving? I said yes my youngest child is hungry. And it’s ridiculous that we’ve waiting this long. Paid for the shake and bottle of water and we left.
