Ad Astra Steakhouse - Strong City

What a deception online. Drove from out of town to eat. Arrive at 11:30 for lunch and door is locked, only maintenance guy. Said the owners not there, and not sure if they were opening up today.Went across the street and the signage outside was not the case of a Mexican restaurant. Some sort of bakery. Sign outside said cinnamon roles! Lol. Went in and asked for menus. A really nice guy said the Mexican restaurant moved out on the highway where the old pizza hut. Hinted we go there. On the way out it was like no loss to them attitude. So we went to the place out on the highway.Sad how I used to live in this area, and to come back and find if you aren't a local from here, you don't matter.

Permanently closed as of Feb. 25, 2024. Put there is a different cafe across the street.

Surprise find. Great steaks, cooked perfectly to order. Big portions. Nice staff. Full bar with large beer selection.

I miss the old Ad Astra! You never know when this one will be open. We went 1 time when they first reopened.... only thing on the menu was a burger or bison burger. They were out of regular burger. EXPENSIVE. Will not be back. Parking: The employees park in all the spaces right at the front door.

Must visit for Bison Burgers! I’m not a big burger fan, but the bison burgers were delicious. The grilled cheese was impressive as well. Don’t miss this place if you are nearby!
