Geppetto Cafe - Strip District

One of my favorite places to go in the Pittsburgh area. The menu is affordable and full of options for all taste-buds. The decor inside the restaurant is adorable, though seating is limited. This is a must go for brunch!

I’m going to assume the positive reviews are for crepes as the sandwiches are extremely disappointing. Didn’t have the advertised bacon, had one little slice of avocado and one cherry tomato on the whole thing and maybe two slices of deli meat. I wouldn’t go back or order from here again.

Amazing food! Awesome decor, great service. There are some overrated places in Lawrenceville, but this one is a legit good one.

I come here all the time, the atmosphere is very nice, the staff is polite and very attentive. The atmosphere is great, it is a very clean place.The food is great.And it was delicious, I can say the best crep in Pittsburgh

I would be on the fence about going back to Geppetto Cafe. The service was a bit rough, we were passed over many times as the only ones waiting, not acknowledged. Once someone did acknowledge us, he didn’t have menus or say to follow him, he asked how many and walked away and looked surprised when we didn’t follow. We thought he was going to look for a table. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Tried a sweet and savory crepe and some lattes. I preferred the sweet crepe, the savory crepe was lacking protein. The worst part was how dusty it was. See the photos of the bathroom and their decor. The Pinocchio was hanging right next to my head with all this dust build up on it, thankfully I didn’t bump it. I’d probably get takeout in the future because of the atmosphere, but I’d rather go to another place for crepes altogether, honestly.
