Jan Cheong Restaurant - Strathmore

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and very attentive! The food was served promptly and, most importantly, the quality of the food is excellent. Our family dines here regularly for dinner.

The food at this restaurant is good, but the main issue is that they don't fill the containers completely. I feel like I didn't get enough food for the price I paid. If they would just add a bit more food to each container, it would be a more satisfying portion. I would rate the food 7/10 and the quantity 6/10.

The Chinese cuisine at this restaurant was fantastic! The portion sizes were a bit small, but the flavors were excellent. The service was also very good. However, the bathrooms could use some updating.

I still love this place. The service is always friendly, and the food always delicious, try the Quails Special Pat Soup(Not on the menu).

Our family regularly visits Jan Cheong for birthday’s, Fathers Mother’s Day, and celebrations, because we are very satisfied. The service is excellent, staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the variety of dishes are what you would expect from a good establishment. We have always found the quality of the dishes consistently high and its fun to try a new dish occasionally. Our family is a large group and Jan Cheong is very accommodating, arranging a large table with plenty of seating. Always a pleasure to be guests here. If you like Chinese food you’re sure to love the “Sizzling steak” or “Honey chicken”. The entree’s are great to start with. There is no problem bringing your own beverages as Jan Cheong is very flexible with your choice of BYO.
