The salt and pepper calamari was also very tasty and crunchy. The highlight of the meal was definitely the BBQ ox tongue! The food was served promptly and the prices were reasonable. The waitress was friendly and we definitely plan on coming back to try more dishes.
I tried the prawn pad thai and chicken skewers at this restaurant. The portions were just right and the prices were reasonable. The Thai milk tea was absolutely delicious! It's my favorite drink. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and easy to approach.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the location is great. I just wish the portions were larger. I will definitely be returning in the future!
I ordered curry puff, crispy pork, seafood curry, and the grilled rump steak (I forgot the name in the menu). I like their puff, the skin is nice and crispy, and their curry filing is delicious. The flavour of crispy pork sauce and seafood curry is nice but not strong enough, comparing to other Thai dish that we usually have. Also, the portion is a little bit too small. The service is overall nice and friendly.
The hot pots came out brimming with broth, meat and assorted vegetables. Upon inspection, the pot was filled with marinated bulgogi beef, spring onion, tofu, mushrooms and generous servings of ramen noodles. With hot pot, it’s best to cook the noodles for just a short while so they are still chewy. Gourmet Gumbo has unfortunately had the unpleasant experience of eating very mushy, soggy noodles having been left in the hot pot for far too long.
