Napoli Cafe - Strathfield

When you think of Strathfield you think of Korean BBQ, frozen yoghurt and hot chocolateThe last thing you'll think of is probably pasta.

Really disappointed by Napoli, I had quite high expectations as I always walk past and notice they always have customers. So I decided to grab some dinner one night. I ordered two pastas and a pizza. The pizza was decent, nothing special but no complaints there. My real bone to pick is with their pastas. We both ordered pastas each, both came out with creamy white sauce that tasted the same! It's like they used the same sauce with the same herbs and sources for two different dishes. It was bland and watery and definitely not worth the price we paid. I'm never going back, not even for the pizza. Sorry!

Napoli Cafe is probably my favourite place to grab pizza and pasta. To me a good pizza is all about the crust, and Napoli has the best crust I've tried. But to those who think toppings make the pizza, there are a range which you can choose from. My personal favourite is the prosciutto and rocket one (forgot what it was called exactly). They have a selection of pastas to choose from as well and my favourite is definitely the arabiatta. And as a bonus, they sell really great hot chocolate; rich in chocolate and doesn't just taste like milk. I'm addicted

We noticed Cafe Napoli has a pretty cheap special where you can order one pizza and one pasta of your choice for about $23 and we just had to come and eat, particularly since it's been forever since we've had Korean style pizza and Pasta. For pasta we chose the carbonara and pink and prawn and for pizzas we got bulgogi and patata and garlic prawn. Both the pastas and pizza's were light in flavour unlike usual pizzas we have. I particularly liked the bulgogi and patata pizza. They also bring you a side serving of pickles, which were a nice compliment to our meal. Customer service however needs improvement, although the guy seemed nice he needed to pay more attention as it took some effort calling him each time we needed to be served. All in all, reasonably priced. Would probably come back here to try some of their other varieties of pizza and pasta.

Într-adevăr dezamăgit de Napoli, am avut așteptări destul de mari, deoarece mereu merg peste și am observat că au întotdeauna clienți. Așa că am decis să mănânc o cină într-o seară. Am comandat două paste și o pizza. Pizza era decentă, nimic specială, dar nu există plângeri acolo. Oasele mele reale este cu pastele lor. Am comandat ambele paste, amândouă au venit cu sosul alb cremos, care a gustat la fel! Este ca și cum ai folosi același sos cu aceleași ierburi și surse pentru două feluri de mâncare diferite. A fost FAD și apos și cu siguranță prețul pe care îl apreciem că am plătit. Nu mă întorc niciodată, nici măcar pentru pizza. Ne pare rău!
