The Kingfisher - Stratford-on-Avon

The best Haddock and Chips I have had for a very long Time. We eat in but Takeaway is available I can say No more.... You must try....

Best chicken and chips I have ever tasted found the staff very friendly definitely recommend this place will definitely eat here again.

We visited on the Saturday of the Christmas fare when the town was very busy and we had takeaway. However the service was still excellent and the fish and chips some of the best ever had. The fish was cooked to order with the batter being crispy but not thick or over done and the fish superb. The chips were brown, crispy and piping hot! Eaten sitting on a bench with a can of Diet Coke Absolutly superb…

Visiting the area for a couple of days and was recommended that I go here for fish chips and eat in the restaurant , a very friendly and chatty lady took my order, the fish cod) was cooked to order, the food was excellent, hot, crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish and lovely chips, had mushy peas, bread butter a pot of tea. Nice, very clean surroundings and if in the area I would definitely call again.

We were staying nearby and saw the good reviews for The Kingfisher, and thought got to give it a go! It didn't disappoint from the moment we stepped through the door of the restaurant until we left. A friendly greeting and helpful information given by the lovely lady serving us. The food was fresh and tasty.... batter perfectly crispy, fish plentiful. A must to visit whilst in Stratford upon Avon.
