Shalimar Tandoori - Stratford-on-Avon

Gorgeous food!! When ordering an indian, it's always the Shalimar for us. We have been going for over 10 years. They are great value and provide generous portions. The exterior of the establishment should not put you off!

I tried a cheese tikka nan, meat samosa, and chicken and king prawn shaslik at this restaurant and it was amazing. The naan was delicious and the shaslik had a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spice. The first bite was mouthwatering. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

We have been frequenting this Indian takeout place for several years. Most of the time, we are satisfied with the food, giving it a 9 out of 10 rating. However, there have been a few occasions where the dishes we typically order were not up to their usual standard (possibly due to the regular chef being absent). Additionally, there have been instances where they were out of our favorite dish, Tandoori Chicken.

There was a small problem with my order being rejected by Just-Eat, but it was quickly resolved when I called the restaurant. This was my first time trying this place and I was glad I did. The food was delivered promptly, hot, and of good quality. They have a great selection on their menu as well.

Have ordered from here for a few years now and it's consistently good. Tried elsewhere on the odd occasion but its never as good as the Shalimar. Nice people too.
