In addition to the usual items, they also offer eco-friendly products and locally sourced produce. The shop includes a cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is recommended to check the opening days and times in advance, as we found it closed on Mondays. It seems that the shop's hours may depend on the availability of volunteers.
This charming café in the quaint village offers a selection of cakes, scones, tea, and coffee. Although we were hoping for something savory, the shop also sells locally produced gin which was a delightful find.
Fab place to meet friends for coffee etc. So envious of Ilmington residents. Wish we had similar in our village
Lovely lunch sitting overlooking the village on a very warm day. Menu for lunch small but everything tasty and healthy. I had pea and mint soup served with crusty granary bread. Wonderful. Staff friendly too. Will make it a regular ace to visit.
In the middle of this quiet village is the most amazing cafe and shop. The staff are all volunteers and so welcoming and helpful. The shop carries the basics and some very good fresh bread. We ate breakfast and lunch and the portions were large and delicious. I had salmon and scrambled eggs and he had the egg and sausage sandwich and then I had ham cheese sandwich and he had a potato jacket. The sandwiches are huge because the bread slices are large. We ate every breakfast and lunch here when we were not on day trips. I would recommend staying close by as this is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the other Cotswold villages.
