Harry Ramsden's - Stratford-on-Avon

I was in the mood for fish and chips and scallops. Unfortunately, they were out of squid, so I ended up getting cod while my dining partner got plaice. The dishes were wonderfully cooked and presented, with the chips and scallops both being delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.

I recently tried the kabab at this restaurant and it was the best I have had in a long time. I would give it a 10 out of 10 rating.

On the last Friday it was my first time to order fish and chips from here, because I am not from the opposite. I took my friends family older dog with me and the personal here was brilliant! I didn't know there was nowhere to fix his lead so I could quickly dive and pay. the beautiful man who came to the door made sure that I felt welcome, although not to step through the door. he brought the card machine to me and gave much attention to our beautiful dodger; he was very happy with all the attention. the fish and chips tasted delicious and I can not wait until my next trip to bishops fryer enjoy another beautiful meal. many thanks to all who work there and a massive well done for such a friendly, hard work group. I've been to Bishops Fryer a few times now as despite not being the closest one to my house, its the best for fish in the area, which simply melts on your mouth, and the chips are great too. Be prepared for a wait though, unless you phone your order in advance, as there's usually a queue but the service is usually great , which means the time flies by. Enjoy !

Best fish and chips in a long time. Very polite staff. Will definitely use again. We went on good reviews and we were not disappointed. My friend is finding she has a bit of an intolerance to oil but she enjoyed her food and has said she'll be back.
