Contribuiți la feedbackSmall, friendly restaurant in the centre of strasbourg, close to the cathedral. the frame is nice, large wooden tables, design chairs (we will discuss it), warm welcome although a little familiar. The food is excellent, nothing to say. I ate the best octopus of my life in a restaurant specializing in meat that is to say! and congratulations for that! The iron folklore (presented on the table) makes its effect, the odors get out and make the urge, even if it has little utility. My foie gras tartare was very good, although a little unbalanced (too much foie gras). the cruncher, the angus beef net. I don't know what else to ask. The wine was also at the height of the meal. The cheese disappointed me, not that it was bad, but not being master cheesemaker I don't know what I ate. Too bad! Now, why is that note? the price !!! we are clearly at the level of a star or above! the calf in a well-known establishment of strasburg is displayed at 35€ or the cheapest dish in stone wood fire. Here is my opinion: at this level of price, and given the simplicity of the kitchen as mastered is it, we must be irreproachable everywhere. Unfortunately this was not the case: - broken chair- martini served in a canteen water glass- very friendly and helpful server but too familiar- toilet in just correct condition- coffee at 6€!!! in other houses and at this price you usually have a trolley of mignardises. So yes, I ate very well, bravo at the cook. That octopus was a killing. but I will never recommend this restaurant while you can eat more exclusive and cheaper not far from there.20% to 30% less on the map and it was the reference of meat in strasbourg that is cruelly lacking. I voluntarily put the negative down, the price being, sum, a very subjective variable.
This is all said this restaurant is part of a must to do with stras alone flat of small quantity but a quality of the products that are largely the subject of this small flat
Very good table for amateur of rare meats (saller and angus), with iron finish in the plate ! (if so).But the other dishes are not in the rest: generous and greedy entrance, delicious desserts, we do not regret our evening in this establishment. budget a little high (55€ to 65€/pers), but at this level of quality and cuisine, it is worth it!
The meat is good and folklore is assured by this ironing iron but the quantity is quite limited, the service is familiar and quite heavy and the frame is any. As far as the price is concerned, it is hardly justifiable: more than 120€ to two without wine and without dessert for one of the two. We won't go back.
Always a discovery in this restaurant, seasonal vegetables and the region, a always exceptional flavor of all served dishes, a delight at each bite, we don't get tired...everydays excellence everywhere.
