Le Café Potager - Strasbourg

A beautiful, small hotel restaurant. The waitress is gluten intolerant and understood the needs of someone with Celiac Disease. I ordered a Poke Bowl, which was the special, and the chef made up a different dressing for me that wouldn’t have soy sauce. It was perfect!

Very knowledgeable staff menu is not marked but she knew everything that was or could be made gf off the top of her head. Small menu overall but most options are or can be gf. I had the grilled vegetables with house made kimchi and the beef carpaccio with potatoes both were great! The grilled veggies appetizer is a must it was so good. No gf bread that I know of but didn’t need it.

La cuisine est délicieuse, mais je suis très déçue par le prix des options véganes qui me semblent injustifiées. Par exemple, pour véganiser un gratin, il faut ajouter 2€ pour le fromage végétal et 2€ pour la crème de soja, soit 4€ au total ! C'est dommage de ne pas encourager davantage les clients à choisir les options végétales, surtout que cela ne semble pas justifié, la crème de soja ne devrait pas coûter beaucoup plus cher que la crème de lait de vache.

Loved the lunch options: everything is fresh and nourishing but very tasty. Prices are great. We loved the quiche

I had the vegan quiche with salad, the consistency is really good , it could’ve been more flavorful, the staff is really friendly too
