I had the chicken egg with Fritten. My husband had the meatballs in red wine sauce. It was better than mine because my only dry marinated chicken breast was without sauce. Very bland. Wouldn't come back. The service was good. Both ladies we met were very hard.
A quaint, characterful little restaurant. Make a reservation it's a popular spot and isn't big. The patron is a lovely man (he speaks English and German, too). The extensive menu is displayed on a blackboard and he explains what each dish consists of. The...portions are very generous. My husband had the local sausage plate (several) with sauerkraut and I had lamb shank with ratatouille. Both plates were delicious and flavourful. My lamb was meltingly moist (cooked long and slow, apparently) one of the best lamb dishes I've eaten. No room for dessert, but enjoyed a wonderful bottle of local white wine. Wish we lived down the road...this would soon become a favourite spot!
A small and nice restaurant in the center of Strasbourg. The waiter was nice and the service really efficient. Good beer and very good food, especially the meat.
All we needed was some light and cheap for lunch, and this place was perfect for us. It was already busy when we arrived, but there was room for us. If not, there were many seats and tables right outside. Service was... efficient and fast, with the waiter happy multilingual. We chose a vegetarian dish roasted with chips (frries) and salad, washed with good coffee. Delicious, plentiful and tasty and value for money. Perfect for what we needed.
