Jade Garden - Strandhill

I tried this restaurant over a decade ago and it remains as some of the best Asian cuisine I've ever had. The food is high quality, delicious, and authentic in flavor. I have visited frequently over the years. Recently, I visited while in Sligo for the weekend, hoping to impress my partner. We checked the online menu and decided to go on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, we discovered upon arrival that the restaurant is now only offering takeaway service. While I was willing to take our food to go and eat in the car, my partner was not. It's unfortunate that the website does not mention this change, especially since many other restaurants in the area have resumed in-house dining. It feels like a missed opportunity to not allow seating for customers, and updating the website to reflect the current situation would be helpful.

During our stay at Strandhill Caravan Park, we dined at this restaurant. The food was prepared promptly, well presented, and served hot. We tried the salmon and steak teriyaki, both of which were outstanding. The fish and meat were whole pieces, not chopped up. Highly recommended.

Only doing take sways. Efficient service , packaged well. Hot. Ample portions . Yes I agree bland. Flavours dominated by garlic and burnt oil .

I have been a regular customer for many years and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The view of the Atlantic Ocean adds to the overall experience, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. With great value for the price, you can't go wrong dining at Jade Garden.

I have tried most, if not all the Chinese restaurants in Sligo, but this is by far the best. I'm confused to see some negative reviews here as I've never had a bad meal or takeaway here. The quality of the food is excellent, fresh and very tasty. My favourite dish has to be the House Special Curry the best curry sauce!
