The Magpie Inn - Stowmarket

I ordered the medium roast, which came with a generous portion of meat and a choice of sauces. We chose a mix of meats: beef, pork, and gammon, and all of them were tasty and tender. The roast also came with crispy fries and a filling, and there were about ten different vegetables to choose from. The cauliflower and broccoli cheese was particularly delicious. The dessert menu was impressive as well; we tried the Belgian waffles and the marmalade roly-poly, both of which were fantastic, especially with the creamy custard. We made a reservation beforehand and I would definitely recommend this place. Many thanks to The Magpie; my only regret is that I’m not a local, as this would be my go-to pub if I were. I will definitely return, as the trip was well worth it!

I had a delicious meal here! This is definitely the go-to place for great food. The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

The food was excellent, but I noticed that the prices were different from what was listed online. It said £9 for the roast, but I ended up paying £9.95 each. I'm not sure how I was charged £19.90 for two roasts.
