The Old Wharf Inn - Stourbridge

My family and I had a lovely lunch here for Mother's Day on Sunday. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and had a modern twist. It was truly high-quality pub food, without any pretentiousness. We felt comfortable and welcomed, and the staff were timely, attentive, and genuinely positive, which was definitely refreshing. The Old Wharf is also fantastic for real ales and gins, and they open their beer garden during the summer months, allowing you to enjoy a drink by the riverside. It really doesn't get better than that!

The dining experience here is one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is absolutely immaculate, and the food presentation is beautiful. The staff are fantastic, and the beer garden is clean, gorgeous, and heated. It's dog-friendly and offers lovely walks along the canal. Additionally, it's right next to Granddad's Attic, a wonderful antique shop! It's an excellent spot for a day out. The Scotch eggs and the dishes are simply delightful!

My friends and I chose from the breakfast menu there was plenty of choice with a few enticingly different options. I had the veggie breakfast which was delicious the ingredients were fresh and tasty and the portion size was perfect leaving me pleasantly full! The atmosphere was buzzing a real surprise for 10:15am! The staff were friendly and attentive. All in all a great experience we’ve decided to return and try the evening menu next! Haven't eaten here yet but a smashing place to chill. Good customer service, relaxing quality environment, dog friendly and great selection of drinks.

First time I visited was during covid restrictions so we had to sit outside but they've put a lot of effort into making the outdoor seating nice. Went for a Sunday roast more recently and the indoors is very nice too, not too big or too small and the tables are separated quite a bit so you're not sat on top of eachother. Good selection of drinks on tap and behind the bar. The food is really nice, had the burger the first time and the roast top side beef the second time. Both very nice!
